The 40th Annual New York Urban League (NYUL) Football Classic will take place on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 3pm inside MetLife Stadium (formerly New Meadowlands Stadium). Since inception, proceeds from the Classic have provided over $20million in Whitney M. Young, Jr. Scholarships to more than 4, 000 students in pursuit of higher education. This year's Classic will feature Morgan State University Bears vs. Howard University Bison. The Classic is always filled with fun, friends, food, and an exciting game enjoyed by thousands of fans. This year's game will feature performances by Grammy nominated R&B singer Eric Benet and Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter Chrisette Michele during the pre-game show as well as an exciting halftime show. Not to mention tailgating, battle of the bands, vendor's pavilion and the VIP Coaches Club party where Coaches Club ticket holders will have the opportunity to mix and mingle amongst celebrity guests!
