The main purpose of the ride is raise money and awareness for the Together AsOne Foundation, as well as to spotlight positive stories about Black owned businesses, black history and communities. For the most part the ride is self funded, but savings have been exhausted already and I always appreciate help to continue. Usually, most money is spent on hotels, food and bike maintenance. As of September 25th, I may have the opportunity to have an RV ride with me, at that time, most of the expense will be gas and food for the driver. (Big shout to Nancy Vail who has volunteered her time and RV). Anything you could contribute would be greatly appreciated... $5, $50, $500 helps me tremendously. Thanks to Mrs. Nancy Vail, we have an opportunity to have a RV ride with me on the Journey Thru Black America. Mrs. Vail has volunteered her time and her RV... we just have to cover gas and make sure she can eat. Having an RV to support the journey opens up some additional opportunities that we wouldn't have. It would definitely save on hotel and food expenses as the RV has beds and a full kitchen and I could eat healthier. Another good thing is that I wouldn't have to travel with 50lbs on my bike and back... I could get further! In addition... to help support the journey... I could sell things like t-shirts, bracelets, etc to offset the cost! I only have a few months left and this would help tremendously. (Ideally the RV would meet me in Atlanta on September 25th
